It’s with immense excitement and a heart full of purpose that I officially introduce DGH Moves – a vision born from years of dedication to movement, resilience, and the belief that true well-being encompasses far more than just physical fitness.
You might know me, Damaris Galdames-Hough, from a spin bike, a Pilates mat, or perhaps from my past as the owner and lead instructor at Chivo Cycle, where I poured my energy into leading up to 15 classes a week. My expertise is built on diverse and rigorous training, including Matrix Ride CXP, The Method by Kristina Girod, Playlist to Waitlist by Lia Marley, along with certifications in Barre Bootcamp, Fat Burning Pilates, and more. Or perhaps, from my professional background in Human Resources, a field where I honed skills in communication, problem-solving, and truly understanding people’s journeys. Each step, every challenge, and every success in these diverse roles has culminated in this moment, in the creation of DGH Moves.
Why DGH Moves? Why now?
My path here is deeply personal. Through my own experiences, navigating life’s complexities as part of a blended family, and enjoying every adventure with my two beloved dogs, I’ve come to understand that movement is a powerful catalyst for not just physical health, but for mental fortitude and emotional resilience. This understanding truly solidified my desire to create something that offers comprehensive support and flexible options, moving beyond the traditional studio walls.
